Installation

Download the distributable zip file (located here) and extract it to a suitable installation location, e.g. C:\Program files. Double-click on Scraunch.exe and the program will start.

NOTE

There seems to be some problems with Panda antivirus flagging for the W32/Exploit.gen virus when trying to start Scraunch after extraction of the deployment zip-file. Scanning the zip-file directly with Panda antivirus, as well as a bunch of other scanners at https://www.virustotal.com, has not reported any problems. Scanning the uncompressed installation has neither reported any viruses by Panda. However, double-clicking on Scruanch.exe in a decompressed deployment triggers a virus warning. Similar problems have been reported for Panda in combination with other zip-distributed programs (e.g. JDXi Manager).

In essence, when experience this problem, make sure that the downloaded distribution file is ok (e.g. local manual scan in combination with an on-line scanner). Uncompress the file (maybe repeat scan) and add an exception for Sraunch.exe in your antivirus program.
